NCPS Approved Training Courses

The NCPS play an important role within the profession of counselling in the UK and in May 2013 the Society was one of the first organisations to gain Accredited Register status with the Professional Standards Authority Accredited Register programme.
According to the NCPS "training as a counsellor is a substantial investment of time and money and you should choose carefully. There are many different courses which can make the choice a confusing one. In general, a course should include a balance of theoretical study and skills training and should encourage personal as well as professional development. It should, preferably, be recognised by a professional body like the NCS and agree to abide by that body’s Code of Ethics."
We have been assessed by The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society which means that in the opinion of the Society the training we offer is safe, ethical and delivered in a competent fashion.

Explore our contemporary training options, designed to be practical, neuro-affirming, and rooted in real-world work with children, young people, and families.
