About the event

Please note: You must attend both evenings.

Parenting a young person with ADHD can feel both deeply rewarding and incredibly challenging and you don’t have to navigate it alone.

This two-part workshop invites parents and caregivers to come together in a supportive, non-judgmental space to share experiences, gain practical insights, and build confidence in understanding their young person’s needs.

Across the sessions, we’ll explore ADHD from a young person’s perspective, helping you see the “why” behind the behaviours.

You’ll learn how differences in attention, motivation, and emotional regulation shape a child’s daily experiences and why typical strategies often fall short. Our focus is on real-world understanding, not theory for theory’s sake, so you can walk away with ideas you can use immediately.

We’ll introduce the Window of Tolerance as a simple, powerful framework for making sense of emotional overwhelm and “meltdowns.”
